Krankheiten/Gesundheitsrisiken, für die eine Prävention mit Curcumin indiziert sind

Curcumin weist ein breites Spektrum an Wirkungen auf und zeigt vielversprechende Eigenschaften für die Prävention und mögliche Behandlung verschiedener Erkrankungen wie beispielsweise Tumorerkrankungen, Allergien, Autoimmunerkrankungen, Herz-Kreislauf-Erkrankungen, Diabetes mellitus, Arthrose, Reizdarmsyndrom (RDS) und chronisch entzündliche Darmerkrankungen (CED) [1-6]. Die molekularen Wirkmechanismen von Curcumin sind mittlerweile gut erforscht. Viele seiner gesundheitlichen Effekte lassen sich auf die Stärkung des antioxidativen Systems, die Entzündungshemmung und/oder die Modulation des Immunsystems zurückführen.
